Job summary

E Logic is seeking a highly experienced Pure Storage Certified Engineer to support a government Pure Storage infrastructure remotely, with occasional on-site work as directed. The role emphasizes ensuring continuous availability and rapid response to incidents.

The position requires DoD EOD suitability, US citizenship, and Pure Storage certification; 3+ years in Pure Storage environments; 2+ years hardware break/fix; strong STIG and NDU experience.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess and maintain a current Pure Storage technical certification.
• Minimum of three years' experience with Pure Storage FlashArray/FlashBlade.
• Two years of hardware break/fix experience on enterprise storage arrays.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7/365 remote and on-site technical support for Pure Storage arrays.
• Respond to critical issues within one hour.
• Perform hardware break/fix including on-site or virtual component replacements.
• Install, configure, and upgrade Pure Storage software/firmware/patches.
• Ensure all software/firmware remains STIG-compliant.
• Execute Non-Disruptive Upgrades to maintain availability.
• Manage hardware refresh program including five-year replacement cycles.
• Install new hardware and decommission old hardware as part of refresh.
• Maintain proactive monitoring via Pure1 or equivalent.
• Detect and resolve potential issues before impact.
• Coordinate with Support Account Manager and COR on escalations.
• Maintain up-to-date Pure Storage certifications.
• Participate in events requiring contractor presence.
