Job summary

LG Energy Solution is seeking a Specialist, Purchasing (I - Sr.) to handle sourcing, purchasing, and customs compliance for our Phoenix operations. The role reports to the Manager, Purchasing and is based on-site in Phoenix, AZ.

The successful candidate will manage supplier relationships, issue POs, and coordinate with global teams to optimize the supply chain and ensure regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree with 0–7+ years in purchasing or customs, with preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MS preferred.
• 0-7+ years of experience in customs compliance, purchasing, import/export operations, or supply chain management.
• Experience in manufacturing or automotive-related industries preferred.
• Experience supporting global suppliers and cross-functional operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source and manage suppliers.
• Create and issue purchasing orders (POs).
• Quote goods and services.
• Negotiate pricing and track orders.
• Review service contracts and raw material purchasing.
• Register new vendors and ensure invoices are paid.
