Job summary

LG Energy Solution is seeking a Specialist, Purchasing - Material Management Part (I - Sr.) in Phoenix, AZ. This on-site role reports to the Manager, Purchasing and drives inbound/outbound material flow, inventory accuracy, and supplier collaboration to support production and logistics.

You will analyze data, coordinate with 3PLs, and ensure ERP/WMS integrity using SAP and Excel in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, supply chain, or related field.
• 1–7+ years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Knowledge of ERP and purchasing processes.
• Understanding of procurement principles, vendor management, and contracts.
• Ability to analyze purchasing data and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound/outbound material operations and inventory transactions.
• Monitor receiving, storage, issuance, and inventory movement per procedures.
• Ensure inventory accuracy via cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with 3PLs to optimize warehouse operations.
• Support production with timely line feeding and material supply.
• Analyze data and identify process improvements to reduce waste.
• Maintain ERP/WMS records (e.g., SAP) and ensure compliance.
• Work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Procurement, Logistics.
