Job summary

LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc. is seeking a Specialist II, Materials Management Procurement to support raw materials purchasing and maintain accurate information for production needs.

You will work with suppliers, internal teams, and headquarters to ensure timely flow of materials, create purchase orders, monitor orders, and address shortages or issues affecting manufacturing timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in materials management, purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Experience with purchase orders, supplier communication, inventory monitoring, or materials planning.
• Experience working with ERP, purchasing, or inventory management systems preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• On-site work with flexible hours based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities for raw materials from predetermined suppliers, including creating purchase orders and maintaining records.
• Review material requirements, inventory levels, and production needs to determine order timing and quantities.
• Monitor open purchase orders, shipment schedules, and delivery dates; follow up on delays or issues.
• Communicate order requirements, quantity changes, and delivery expectations with suppliers.
• Review and negotiate transportation, freight, and transit-related costs for raw material shipments.
• Track material shortages and supply issues; collaborate with internal teams and suppliers for timely resolution.
• Maintain PO, shipment, pricing, inventory and related information in systems; ensure accuracy.
• Prepare regular purchasing, shipment and material-status updates for Materials Management and headquarters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
