Job summary

RealREPP, a full-service recruiting firm, is partnering with a growing national organization to recruit a Sr. Purchasing Agent in Ohio to oversee procurement for multiple projects.

Responsibilities include sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and coordinating with A/P and PM teams to ensure timely delivery and cost savings. This role requires 5+ years in construction purchasing and strong ERP/COINS experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing experience, with minimum 3 years in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing practices and systems.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction procurement and ERP/COINs experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills material requisitions from field staff and fabrication shop.
• Procures and ensures on-time delivery at competitive prices.
• Collaborates with A/P and Project Management to resolve invoices.
• Assists with bid documents and bid lists for awards.
• Coordinates with project managers to procure raw materials, equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Prepares and manages purchase orders and follows up on past-due orders.
