Job summary

RealREPP is seeking a Purchasing Agent to support a growing construction-focused organization. You will manage requisitions, negotiate with suppliers, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and cost effectiveness.

Role requires strong negotiation skills, ERP experience (COINS preferred), and a solid understanding of plumbing/mechanical materials. This is an on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 year AA degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing practices, systems, and practices.
• Good ability to effectively negotiate and procure items in a timely manner.
• Excellent time management with multi-project handling.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong product knowledge of pipe, valves, and fittings for plumbing/mechanical systems.
• Experience with ERP software (COINS preferred).
• Ability to work in a continuous improvement environment.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills material requisitions from field staff and fabrication shop, procures and ensures timely delivery.
• Partners with staff and management to streamline systems and resolve invoices for payment.
• Assists in compiling bid documents, bidders lists, and procurement recommendations.
• Coordinates with project managers for goods/services; resolves supplier issues.
• Coordinates bulk deliveries of rough products to meet deadlines.
• Prepares and manages purchase orders and follows up on past-due orders.
