Job summary

All Current Electrical Sales, Inc. is seeking a Senior Purchasing Agent to lead the circuit breaker category. This role partners with Supply Chain, Sales, Operations and Leadership to drive profitability, sourcing strategy, inventory optimization and supplier negotiations in a fast-moving market.

The ideal candidate will bring deep circuit breaker knowledge, strong negotiation abilities, and a track record of managing inventory and supplier relationships within a distribution environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, category management, or supply chain experience.
• Strong circuit breaker purchasing and sourcing experience.
• Demonstrated forecasting and inventory management expertise.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience in electrical distribution or industrial distribution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for the circuit breaker category.
• Develop and execute purchasing and sourcing strategies to support growth objectives.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers and sourcing partners.
• Develop inventory forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and business intelligence.
• Establish and manage inventory minimums, maximums, and replenishment parameters.
• Support inventory planning efforts for branch growth and expansion initiatives.
• Monitor supplier pricing changes and analyze business impact.
• Evaluate the effect of cost changes on gross profit and sales pricing.
• Lead supplier pricing and contract negotiations.
• Evaluate sourcing options to secure competitive costs and reliable supply.
• Partner closely with Outside Sales, Branch Operations, and Supply Chain leadership

• Experience managing products with rapidly changing market pricing
• Profit21 and/or Epicor ERP experience
• Exposure to margin analysis, sales pricing, and category profitability management
