Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, category management, or supply chain experience.
• Strong circuit breaker purchasing and sourcing experience.
• Forecasting and inventory management expertise.
• Experience with electrical distribution or industrial distribution.
• Experience managing products with rapidly changing pricing.
• Exposure to margin analysis, sales pricing, and category profitability management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for the circuit breaker category.
• Develop and execute purchasing and sourcing strategies to support growth objectives.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers and sourcing partners.
• Develop inventory forecasts using historical data, market trends, and BI insights.
• Establish and manage inventory minimums, maximums, and replenishment parameters.
• Support inventory planning for branch growth and expansion initiatives.
• Monitor supplier pricing changes and analyze business impact.
• Lead supplier pricing and contract negotiations.
• Evaluate sourcing options to secure competitive costs and reliable supply.
• Partner with Outside Sales, Branch Operations, and Supply Chain leadership.

Job Requirements

• Experience within electrical distribution or industrial distribution
• Experience managing products with rapidly changing market pricing
• Profit21 and/or Epicor ERP experience
