Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related purchasing/ procurement experience.
• Working knowledge of CostPoint and NASA FAR requirements.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with requestors to understand procurement needs and requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor quotes to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance
• Create and process purchase orders (POs) or purchase via credit card
• Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Reconcile procurement documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned
• Assign purchases to team of purchasing agents
• Mentor team members on purchasing processes
• Compile monthly metrics
• Interface with Accounting personnel to investigate invoicing issues related to purchasing
