Your Job

We are currently looking for a strong leader to join our team as a Senior Purchasing Agent. This role primarily supports purchasing and manufacturing functions.

Molex combines innovation and technology to deliver electronic solutions worldwide. With a presence in over 40 countries, we serve markets including data communications, consumer electronics, industrial, automotive, commercial vehicles, and medical sectors.

What You Will Do

1. Place purchase orders based on reports and requests.
2. Communicate shortages to production.
3. Research past due orders and inform the team.
4. Gather compliance information from suppliers.
5. Maintain accurate purchasing lead times and costs in the ERP system, working to reduce them.
6. Manage risk and new product purchases.
7. Assist with estimating quotes for materials.
8. Research new supplier opportunities.
9. Perform data entry tasks.
10. Maintain specific commodity inventory levels.
11. Assist with supplier non-conformances.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in materials, purchasing, or planning.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Over 5 years of experience in materials, purchasing, or planning.

Salary range for this role is estimated at $78,000 - $85,000 annually, with eligibility for variable pay such as bonuses.
