• Hands-on background with large pump repair and troubleshooting of pumps or rotating equipment.
• Strong business acumen with demonstrated profit/loss management.
• Demonstrated leadership in a manufacturing environment and collaboration with sales.

Responsibilities

• Full leadership responsibility for the Denver aftermarket pump service and repair facility that handles custom repairs.
• Actively manage all personnel including exempt and non-exempt, mechanics, machinists, engineers and office staff.
• Ensure the annual business plan, including expense management, utilization and productivity are met or exceeded.
• Actively partner with leadership in a matrix environment, thereby having a strong influence on the operations and strategy of the team in collaboration with Sales developing strong working relationships.
• Effectively interact with the shop and communicate with all employees on a daily basis.
• Attract, identify, develop and retain organization/department talent in an ongoing effort to support the growth philosophy. This includes employee performance management, succession planning, and individual mentoring and development.
• Develop and implement process improvements, which continuously improve on-time delivery, reduce operating and product costs and reduce product lead times.
• Collaborate effectively with the sales force on quotations.
• Interface with customers, suppliers and internal teams to deliver a superior customer experience. This includes willingness to participate in sales calls.
• Ensure quality goals are met for our products/services.
• Implement and manage safety policies and guidelines for employees and the facility.
• Responsible for meeting compliance on company policies and procedures.
• Ensure equipment is maintained.
