Job summary

Peak Water Services in Denver is seeking a skilled field/service technician to remove, repair, remanufacture, reassemble and install pumps, motors, electrical controls, piping and valves. Work will be in shop and on client sites, often independently, representing the company to customers.

Typical hours are 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Monday–Friday with travel around the Denver area; some trips to Grand Junction and South Wyoming may occur.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree or additional training preferred
• Experience working on pumps or related equipment preferred
• Must be knowledgeable / willing to work on equipment up to 460 volts
• Electrical licenses, electrical controls knowledge, machining, welding abilities, and certifications in any specialty is a plus
• Use of basic tools, mechanical and electrical testing equipment, lifting devices, computers, and basic office software
• Requires valid Colorado driver’s license with clean record

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair/remanufacture, reassemble and install pumps, motors, electrical controls, piping, valves and related equipment
• Inspect parts for defects and perform startup and testing; read technical drawings and schematics
• Communicate with clients regarding recommended repairs and inspection findings
• Travel to customer locations for on-site pump diagnostics, maintenance and repairs
• Work in shop and field environments, following safety guidelines and OSHA standards
