Job summary

Stage 3 Separation, LLC is seeking a Pump Technician - II to perform assembly, inspection, repair and testing of pump assets. The role emphasizes quality repairs, documentation, and adherence to safety standards to ensure pumps meet performance criteria before release for field deployment.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in maintenance/repair and experience with turbo machinery, plus proficiency with tools, schematics, and software like Jira.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in a maintenance/repair environment.
• 2+ years in pump/turbo machinery preferred.
• SCRUM Team Member certificate is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, inspect, repair, maintain and rebuild pumps.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify root causes.
• Inspect pumps for wear, defects, or performance-impacting conditions.
• Document repairs, parts used, testing results.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Operate shop equipment, lifting devices, and handle parts.
• Collaborate with Pump Technicians and Field Ops to ensure readiness.
