Job summary

Hire Up Staffing Services is partnering with a Southeast Houston area facility seeking a skilled Service Pump Tech to support in-shop and in-field service. The role focuses on service, maintenance, and installation of API 610 pumping equipment, with heavy emphasis on mechanical seals, bearings, and rotating assemblies.

Expect 9+ years of hands-on experience, ability to read mechanical drawings, and a strong safety mindset. Pay ranges from $35 to $45 per hour, DOE, Monday–Friday, 8a–5p.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of hands-on pump repair experience.
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and industrial safety standards.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, exploded views, and parts lists.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of pumping equipment.
• Replace and set mechanical seals, bearings, and rotating assemblies.
• Conduct alignment, balancing, vibration checks, and final quality testing.
