Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Pump and Power Road Technician 2 to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment. You will service generators, HVAC and air compressors and supervise others as needed.

Qualifications include 5-7 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, a DOT medical card, and EPA 608 universal certification. The role requires physical work and offers on-site duties with training opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• DOT Physical Examination (Medical card) required.
• EPA section 608 universal Certification required.
• Advanced understanding of mechanical, electrical and diesel equipment, generators, HVAC and air compressors.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems.
• Performs advanced/complex repair on all types of equipment.
• Scopes customers’ needs and provides solutions.
• May lead and train other team members in repairing equipment in the absence of a Shop Foreman or Service Manager.
