Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Pump & Power Technician 3 to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment, and to guide junior teammates when needed. The role requires 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Pump & Power gear and EPA 608 certification.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, mastering load bank repairs, and coordinating with customers to ensure equipment meets job-site needs. This is an on-site position with extensive indoor/outdoor work.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
• EPA Section 608 universal Certification required.
• Advanced understanding of refrigeration, electrical engines, and controllers.
• Ability to read schematics and draft basic modifications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on Pump & Power equipment.
• Perform advanced repairs and calibrations on assorted equipment.
• Lead and train team members when Foreman is unavailable.
• Interface with customers to determine needs and provide solutions.
