Responsibilities include disassembling, inspecting, repairing API centrifugal pumps and related rotating equipment, training and developing staff, monitoring repairs, and coordinating with customers to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years in pump repair shop with API centrifugal pumps and related rotating equipment.
• Experience repairing API/Engineered pumps, creating details, and making technical decisions.
• In-depth understanding of API 610 and applicable standards.
• Ability to read pump sections, drawings and OEM manuals.
• Disassembly, inspection, and writing detailed rotating equipment reports.
• Safely use hand, power, pneumatic and hydraulic tools.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydrostatic testing of parts and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, disassemble, inspect, repair, and package API centrifugal pumps and related rotating equipment.
• Assist with training Pump Mechanic personnel for efficient operations and compliance.
• Monitor progress of repairs and guide shop personnel to complete repairs.
• Serve as one of the most experienced tradesmen in the shop; set positive leadership tone.
• Interact with customers positively and assist the Supervisor in job execution.
