The ideal candidate has 10+ years in pump repair, strong API 610 knowledge, and the ability to read pump sections, drawings, and OEM manuals. This role offers full benefits and a competitive hourly rate.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 10+ years of experience in a pump repair shop repairing API centrifugal pumps.
- Experience reading pump sectional drawings and OEM manuals.
- Knowledge of API 610 and related standards.
- Ability to disassemble, inspect, and prepare detailed reports.
Responsibilities
- Receive, disassemble, inspect, repair, paint, and package API centrifugal pumps for shipment.
- Assist with training and developing pump mechanic personnel.
- Monitor progress of repairs and guide shop personnel.
- Serve as one of the most experienced tradesmen in the shop.
- Set a positive leadership tone and interact with customers.
- Assist the Supervisor in execution of all work.
