Operations Services, Inc. (OSI) seeks a Lead Pump and Controls Technician for its Waters, Michigan facility.

This advanced role leads field crews, troubleshoots municipal pump stations, control panels, telemetry, and grinder pump systems, and coordinates with customers and contractors. The successful candidate will diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control-system problems, read schematics, and train technicians while coordinating labor, equipment, and materials for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of pump systems, lift stations, and electrical controls work.
• 3+ years troubleshooting pump control panels and electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Experience leading field crews and coordinating service work.

Responsibilities

• Lead field technicians on service calls, installations, and emergencies.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, control panels, and telemetry systems.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, and engineers; ensure safety and quality.
• Read diagrams, document changes, and prepare repair proposals.
• Train technicians and oversee parts, labor, and equipment planning.
