Job summary
Operations Services, Inc. seeks a LIFT STATION/PUMP MAINTENANCE TECHNITION to support water and wastewater facilities in Michigan.
The role involves skilled maintenance across plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, including lift stations, pumping equipment, and monitoring of water quality to ensure EGLE compliance. Candidate must have 2+ years in the field, own a Michigan driver's license, and proficient computer skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum two years in water or wastewater maintenance.
- Two years lift/grinder station maintenance and panel troubleshooting knowledge.
- Valid Michigan driver's license required.
- Proficiency with standard computer software and job-specific systems.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and adjust lift and grinder stations for clients.
- Maintain and repair electrical controls.
- Rebuild pumps onsite and in our repair facility.
- Collect water/wastewater samples as needed.
- Maintain records, logs, and inventory; assist with customer service requests.
- Coordinate with supervisors and participate in on-call rotations.
