The ideal candidate has 2–5+ years of mechanical assembly experience, strong reading of drawings and BOMs, and proficiency with precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of mechanical assembly/manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and schematics.
• Proficient with precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Independently assemble complete pump systems.
• Perform complex mechanical and hydraulic assemblies.
• Set up and perform testing of completed units.
• Troubleshoot failures and determine corrective actions.
• Verify critical dimensions, torque requirements, alignment, and component installation.
• Review drawings and identify potential assembly issues.
• Identify shortages or engineering discrepancies that could affect production.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Machine Shop, Quality, Material Control, and Production when problems occur.
• Make approved adjustments to bring units into specification.
• Complete JO/traveler, inspection, and test documentation.
• Assist with determining assembly completion dates.
• Train and assist Technician I employees.
• Help establish/improve assembly procedures and work instructions.
• Support production priorities and urgent/line-stop orders.
• Perform final assembly verification before moving units to testing or shipping.
