Job summary

Hydraulics International, Inc. is seeking Technicians/Assemblers in Chatsworth, CA to perform mechanical assembly in a manufacturing setting.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of assembly or manufacturing experience and be comfortable using basic hand tools and reading English work instructions and testing procedures. Responsibilities include selecting and using hand, power, and pneumatic tools, installing fasteners, following assembly and testing procedures, and ensuring quality and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of assembly, mechanical assembly, or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and understand English to follow work instructions, safety requirements, assembly procedures, and product testing processes.
• Experience using basic hand tools: open-end and combination wrenches, ratchets and sockets, screwdrivers, pliers, torque wrenches, and other standard assembly tools.
• Ability to safely operate air/pneumatic tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and finished products according to work instructions and production requirements.
• Select and use the appropriate hand, power, and pneumatic tools for each assembly operation.
• Install fasteners, fittings, hardware, and other components as required.
• Read and follow assembly instructions and testing procedures written in English.
• Perform basic functional or product testing according to established procedures.
• Verify that parts and components are properly assembled before moving products to the next operation.
• Report defective parts, assembly problems, or testing issues to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Meet production, quality, and safety expectations.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and orderly condition.
• Follow written and verbal directions from Leads, Supervisors, and Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
