Job description

Senior Publisher Partnership Manager - Ad Tech

Thanks (thanks.co) is seeking an experienced Senior Publisher Partnership Manager with 3-5 years experience in the Ad Tech space (particularly in off-site & retail media) to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring our strategic accounts achieve maximum value from their partnerships with us.

In this key position, you will act as the primary point of contact for our mid-market and enterprise ad Publisher. You will deeply understand their business & goals, and deliver exceptional service to support and drive growth.

Our ideal candidate will be very comfortable monitoring and analyzing ad performance, and working directly with Product & Engineering teams to build innovative products to drive incremental revenue. A strong understanding of Martech & CRM platforms, ie: Braze, Klaviyo etc would also be very beneficial in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key advertiser partners, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Onboarding & Support: Lead the onboarding process for new advertisers, providing guidance on best practices and how to leverage Thanks' platform effectively.
  • Expertise in Advertising & Performance Marketing: Demonstrated ability to source, create, monitor & optimize marketing strategies across various digital channels, making data-driven decisions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly analyze campaign performance and share insights with clients, using data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Strategic Consultation: Act as a trusted advisor, recommending strategies to optimize advertisers' campaigns and achieve key performance metrics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, product, and marketing, to align on client initiatives and feedback, effectively relaying client insights to enhance our offerings.
  • Retention & Growth: Drive client satisfaction to ensure retention, renewals, and upsell opportunities by understanding client objectives and identifying additional ways to deliver value.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in client success or account management - working with enterprise clients within digital advertising or technology industries.
  • Strong understanding of online advertising concepts, metrics, and strategies, with experience managing large client accounts.
  • Proven track record of building relationships and driving client satisfaction and retention.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze performance data, derive insights, and communicate recommendations effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a knack for explaining complex concepts clearly.
  • Self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience in working collaboratively in cross-functional teams and navigating between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications or Experience:
  • 3-5 years minimum experience managing key clients in retail media, advertising, ecommerce.
  • Experience working with publishers, e-commerce platforms, or ticketing marketplaces.
  • Martech or experience with CRM platforms Ie; Braze, Klaviyo etc is highly desired.
  • Established network within the US tech and media industries.
  • Understanding of SaaS business models and customer success frameworks.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
