Job summary

CLMI Group is seeking a Cost Control II to support cost accounting for the Los Angeles County Public Works – Rebuild Authority project. The role requires the design and administration of a rebate program, with a focus on ensuring accurate cost capture across multiple funding sources.

The position demands strong experience in government financial management, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial rules to the public and internal staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of cost accounting or public program financial management experience.
• Experience developing rebate, reimbursement, grant, or incentive programs, including eligibility criteria and payment tracking.
• Ability to track and reconcile project costs, budgets, and expenditures across multiple sources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reporting to management and public bodies.

Responsibilities

• Provide project cost accounting for LA County Public Works – Rebuild Authority.
• Design, implement, and administer a rebate program supporting rebuild efforts.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and briefing materials for oversight bodies.
• Coordinate with project managers, auditors, and partner agencies to ensure compliance.
