Job summary

UKG is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to provide legal and commercial support for U.S. Public Sector sales, including Federal, State, and Local transactions.

Reporting to the Senior Director, this attorney will lead complex matters from intake through execution and advise cross-functional teams on procurement and contracting issues. The role also supports other commercial segments and strategic initiatives, collaborating with Compliance, Security, Engineering, and Legal to drive improvements

Qualifications

• JD degree and active State bar license in good standing.
• 7+ years of legal experience in U.S. Public Sector sales, procurement, or commercial transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities with independent judgment.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and credibility with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting and negotiation of complex Public Sector customer agreements and partner arrangements.
• Advise on procurement options, cooperative and schedule contracts, and fulfillment requirements.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Security, Engineering on regulatory matters and UKG processes.
• Lead moderately complex legal projects, templates, playbooks, and process improvements.
• Provide practical legal guidance and mentorship across teams.
