Job summary

UKG is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to support U.S. Public Sector sales, including Federal, State, and Local transactions. You will lead complex matters from intake through execution and advise cross-functional teams on procurement and contracting issues.

You will coordinate with Compliance, Security, Engineering, and other teams, drive process improvements, and guide stakeholders with practical legal solutions. A strong background in negotiation and policy interpretation is essential.

Qualifications

• JD Law degree and active license in good standing with a U.S. State bar.
• At least 7 years of relevant legal experience, including substantial experience supporting U.S. Public Sector sales, procurement, or commercial transactions.
• Demonstrated strength in complex drafting, negotiation, legal analysis, and independent judgment.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and building credibility with business, Legal, executive, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting and negotiation of complex Public Sector customer agreements and distributor, reseller, and other partner arrangements.
• Advise Sales, Services, Sales Operations, and Legal on RFPs, procurement options, cooperative and schedule contracts, contract management, and fulfillment requirements.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Security, Engineering, and other teams on customer inquiries involving FedRAMP, State RAMPs, Accessibility, regulatory requirements, and UKG processes.
• Lead moderately complex legal projects, such as contract templates, playbooks, and process improvements.
• Provide practical legal guidance, communicate complex issues clearly, influence stakeholders, and mentor others.
