Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and licensed in good standing.
• 10+ years of relevant in-house legal and/or law firm experience in U.S. public sector compliance and government contracts.
• Strong understanding of the FAR, DFARS, and relevant statutes.
• Consistent track record of developing and implementing compliance programs and working with varying business units.

Responsibilities

• Providing legal advice and support on compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including FAR and its supplements.
• Developing policies and guidelines to foster a culture of trust and mitigate risks in the public sector.
• Conducting internal assessments and monitoring for potential compliance issues with pragmatic solutions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to operationalize compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
• Partnering with Cisco’s Government Affairs team to shape evolving regulations.
