Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel, Public Sector Compliance to advise on compliance matters governing public sector business in the United States. The role requires deep knowledge of public sector compliance principles, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to collaborate across functions.

You will support FAR/DFARS compliance, develop policies, and partner with Cisco’s Government Affairs to address evolving regulations in a dynamic regulatory landscape.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and licensed in good standing.
• 10+ years in-house or law firm experience focused on U.S. public sector compliance and government contracts.
• Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS and relevant statutes.
• Experience developing and implementing compliance programs across multiple business units.

Responsabilités

• Provide legal advice on compliance with laws and regulations including FAR and DFARS.
• Develop policies to foster a culture of trust and mitigate risks in the public sector.
• Conduct internal assessments and monitor for potential compliance issues with pragmatic solutions.
• Collaborate with sales, finance and operations to operationalize regulatory obligations.
• Partner with Cisco’s Government Affairs to shape evolving regulations in a dynamic landscape.
