Job summary

Capstone Hill Search is seeking a Senior PR Manager in New York City for a hybrid role, three days in the office. The position focuses on owning proactive PR and media relations within the crypto and digital assets sector.

You will work with senior marketing leadership and the C-suite to shape external narratives, drive media coverage, and lead day-to-day execution in a fast-moving market.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of PR / communications experience.
• Knowledge of the crypto/fintech ecosystem, media landscape and news cycle.
• Relationships with relevant crypto, fintech and financial journalists.
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to produce high-quality content independently.
• Understanding of the regulatory issues shaping crypto and digital assets.
• Strong proactive and reactive media relations experience.
• Confidence working directly with senior executives.
• An entrepreneurial, curious and highly responsive approach.
• Ability to operate effectively across multiple fast-moving priorities.

Responsibilities

Senior PR Manager – Crypto / Digital Assets

New York City | Hybrid (3 days/week)

$120–130K base + 15-20% bonus

Capstone Hill Search is partnering with a fast-moving global business operating in the crypto and digital assets sector to appoint a Senior PR Manager in New York.

This is a newly created in-house position with the opportunity to take genuine ownership of PR and external communications.

Having historically worked with an external agency, the business is bringing this capability in-house and is looking for someone who already knows the crypto / fintech ecosystem and can hit the ground running.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior marketing leadership and the C-suite, helping shape the external narrative while personally driving media relations and execution.

We are open to both in-house and agency backgrounds and are particularly interested in agency professionals currently advising crypto / fintech clients who are ready to move in-house and take greater ownership of the PR function.

This is a highly visible role offering direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to become the internal PR lead for an established global business operating in one of the fastest-moving areas of financial technology.
