Job summary

Uphold is seeking a Senior Manager, Public Relations & Communications to own and drive the company's external voice, from strategy to crisis response. This high-visibility role combines strategic partnership with hands-on writing and media placement alongside the CEO.

You'll lead PR across corporate, enterprise, retail and regulatory, craft releases and messaging, manage rapid-response scenarios, and grow relationships with crypto, fintech and financial media while collaborating with Marketing,

Qualifications

• 7+ years in PR/communications, with fintech, crypto, or financial services experience.
• Established media relationships across crypto-native, fintech, and mainstream financial press.
• Sharp writing skills, capable of producing press releases or executive statements with minimal edits.
• Ability to manage multiple fast-moving workstreams with proactive action.
• Regulatory fluency to discuss crypto/fintech rules accurately under pressure.
• Calm under fire in volatile crypto news cycles.

Responsibilities

• Own PR function end-to-end across corporate, enterprise, retail, and regulatory.
• Build and execute a proactive media strategy with leadership visibility.
• Write and ship press releases, statements, bylines, and talking points.
• Manage rapid-response and crisis communications around regulatory developments.
• Leverage relationships with crypto, fintech, and financial media to secure coverage.
• Prepare executives for interviews, panels, and press engagements.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Product for timely messaging.
• Manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Monitor media and regulatory landscape and advise leadership on positioning.
