Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Jersey City, NJ seeks an experienced valuation professional to support price verification of fixed income securities, mortgage-structured products and private credit. Qualifications

7-10 years experience in the financial markets and the investment management industry are preferred.
Willingness to understand valuation methods for the securities mentioned.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and related AI tools.

Responsibilities

Assist in price verification of fixed income securities including mortgage structured products and Agency MBS.
Assist in developing a valuation and price verification framework for newly traded securities and funds.
Interact with Controllers, PMs, traders and support areas to address valuation questions.
Prepare management reports and key valuation metrics for committees and clients.
Review and update the valuation governance structure annually.
