Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced infrastructure inspector to conduct thorough assessments of public works projects in New Jersey. You will document findings with photos and reports for clients and regulators, ensuring compliance with design specifications, codes, and safety standards.

You will collaborate with engineers and project managers, monitor contractor performance, and provide clear updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of inspection experience on public infrastructure projects.
• NICET Level III certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of public projects to ensure compliance with design specs, codes, and regs.
• Maintain detailed records and prepare inspection reports for clients and regulators.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address issues promptly and ensure quality and safety.
• Monitor contractors for adherence to plans, specs, and safety protocols.
• Communicate with stakeholders and provide updates on progress, issues, and resolutions.
