Job summary

Artheon is seeking a highly qualified Senior Construction Inspector to join our team in Cape May, NJ. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience inspecting public infrastructure projects and preferably NICET III certification.

You will ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across counties in New Jersey. As a trusted engineering firm, Artheon delivers civil/site engineering, environmental permitting, transportation infrastructure, and construction management services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience inspecting public infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utilities).
• NICET Level III certification in a related field is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and applicable codes/regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Meticulous record-keeping and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of public projects to ensure compliance with design specs, codes, and regulations.
• Maintain detailed inspection records, photos, and reports for clients and authorities.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address quality and safety issues.
• Monitor contractors to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
• Communicate progress, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders.
