Job summary

Metro Associates is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead municipal capital programs and project delivery in Massachusetts. The role focuses on developing client relationships, winning work, and personally delivering challenging public capital projects.

You will mentor a growing Massachusetts team while coordinating across construction management, engineering, transportation, facilities and inspection groups to ensure successful outcomes on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Massachusetts public-sector capital programs.
• Proven track record delivering public capital projects from planning to closeout.
• Strong knowledge of Massachusetts public procurement and municipal projects.
• Experience with Design-Bid-Build and CM-at-Risk delivery is highly valued.
• MCPPO/CCM certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead municipal and public-sector capital projects through planning, procurement, design, construction and closeout.
• Advise municipal clients as an Owner's Representative/OPM and support PM/CM, design management and construction administration.
• Control scope, budgets, schedules, risk, quality and stakeholder coordination across multiple projects.
• Lead construction-phase activities including constructability, contractor coordination, change orders, cost and schedule oversight, and closeout.
• Support capital planning and multi-project capital-program development for public facilities.
• Build and maintain relationships with MA municipalities, agencies, and owners' representatives.
