Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• Three years of progressively responsible work in public agency budget development or financial analysis.
• Master's in business/public administration or CPA highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the City's annual budget from department submission through Council adoption.
• Forecast and track revenue midyear, one year, and five years out with consultants.
• Maintain fund schedules underneath forecasts.
• Write and refine the budget narrative so story and ledger match.
• Manage relationships with outside financial and revenue consultants.
• Support fee studies and cost allocation work as needed.
• Operate the financial platform (CentralSquare) to run reports and keep data clean.
