Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum 7 years of litigation experience with focus on public agency and school district matters.
• Proven trial experience.
• Strong legal research and writing skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Represent public entities in state and federal court and in administrative hearings.
• Provide strategic legal advice on public agency and education law matters.
• Draft pleadings and legal documents; conduct thorough legal research.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues; provide clear guidance on complex issues.
• Stay current on developments and provide training to clients as needed.
