Job summary

Allied Public Adjusters, Inc. in California is seeking a Senior Public Adjuster who can independently handle complex claims, build strong cases, and own the negotiation process from start to finish.

You will conduct inspections, develop scope, write estimates, manage client relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to maximize value for policyholders. This in-person role requires a California license, extensive claims experience, Xactimate proficiency, and a commitment to truthful,

Qualifications

• Holds an active California Public Adjuster license.
• 10+ years of combined claims-handling experience.
• Has personally investigated and written their own estimates.
• Track record of resolving complex coverage or valuation disputes at their own level, pre-litigation.
• Experience across a mix of claim types, including structure/electrical fire and water losses.
• Litigation exposure expected: has been deposed and/or testified, at deposition or trial for an insurance claim.
• Comfortable communicating and collaborating within a team environment; able to manage up and across the organization, not solely an independent operator.
• Maintains a clean driving record and an active California driver’s license
• Xactimate proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build the Case: Investigate claims thoroughly, develop scope, and coordinate estimates.
• Own the Negotiation: Independently manage complex claims and lead negotiations.
• Own the Client: Maintain timely, proactive client communication and manage relationships through settlement.
• Leadership & Process: Influence internal processes and collaborate with support teams to maximize value.
