Job summary

JustClaims in California seeks a senior Public Adjuster to lead claims and appraisals, building a durable local presence through relationships with contractors, owners, attorneys, brokers, and other industry players. You will guide complex property claims from strategy to resolution and develop new business within your network.

You will work with JustApp, Justin, and partner tools to drive efficient workflows, mentor peers, and participate in market-building initiatives across the state.

Qualifications

• Active California Public Adjuster license required.
• 5+ years of property-claims experience, including commercial or large losses.
• Strong network in California and ability to develop referrals.
• Excellent judgment, negotiation, and policy-language skills.
• Willingness to travel within California for inspections and development.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow JustClaims’ presence across California, building durable referral, partner, and client relationships.
• Lead commercial and complex property-damage claims and appraisals from strategy through resolution.
• Develop business through your existing network while leveraging marketing, content, and partnerships to create opportunities.
• Build deep relationships with contractors and restoration companies to use JustClaims across their insured work.
• Review policies, scope losses, coordinate experts, develop claim strategy, document files, and negotiate with carriers.
• Represent JustClaims at inspections, partner meetings, industry events, and other market opportunities.
• Provide market insights to claims, product, research, marketing, and engineering teams to improve workflows.
