DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan in Detroit is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist Supervisor to lead the inpatient PT team and oversee daily operations. You will coordinate staff schedules and patient care assignments, enforce department policies, and serve as a clinical resource for complex cases while mentoring staff and contributing to performance improvement and program development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a certification in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Three to five years of progressively more responsible experience in a clinical area to acquire leadership skills and skills for specialized and independent patient treatment.
• Leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the physical therapy team and department operations.
• Coordinate staff schedules and patient care assignments.
• Enforce department policies to ensure efficient PT services.
• Provide mentorship and in-service education for staff.
• Serve as clinical resource for complex cases and goals.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Assist in marketing PT services to patients and providers.
• Support research and program development as requested.
• Perform duties of a Physical Therapist as required.
