DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan in Detroit is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Rehab supervisor to provide oversight of the PT team and assist department leadership in day-to-day operations. You will coordinate staff schedules, ensure timely patient care, and uphold department policies while mentoring therapy staff.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, teaching, and collaboration with the community and other health care professionals to promote quality care and program

Qualifications

• Leadership experience preferred.
• Supervision experience in clinical PT setting.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to the physical therapy team and support department leadership.
• Coordinate staff schedules and patient care assignments for timely service delivery.
• Enforce department policies and procedures to ensure efficient PT services; act as supervisor in leadership absence.
• Participate in selection and evaluation of PT personnel and contribute to performance improvement activities.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff; mentor and facilitate professional growth and education.
• Assist management in department functions, special projects, and community outreach initiatives.
