Job summary

McKim & Creed is seeking a PSM Project Surveyor / PM to lead the technical production of survey projects. You will ensure high quality, accuracy and regulatory compliance, directing field work and coordinating with CAD technicians and the project manager. A PSM license and 5+ years of land surveying experience are required.

The role emphasizes meeting schedules and budgets, while maintaining responsive client service and strong teamwork across office and field personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying preferred or equivalent work experience.
• PSM Professional Land Surveying License required.
• 5+ years of Land Surveying & Geomatics experience including Topographic & Boundary surveying, Construction staking for large Civil Land Development projects.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center are strongly preferred.
• FDOT project experience is highly desired (Districts 1, 4, 7).
• Strong technical and interpersonal skills; detail oriented and precise.
• Must manage field crews and CAD technicians effectively; pass background checks and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the technical and professional production of survey projects.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, thoroughness, clarity and regulatory compliance.
• Organize technical production, direct field work, perform quality checks and communicate with project manager.
• Coordinate production to meet budgets and schedules while maintaining client responsiveness.
