Job summary

Volto Consulting seeks a PSA Engineer for Reliance SCADA in New York. The role focuses on advanced Power Systems Application software development, delivering assigned functions to meet corporate commitments and work with utilities on functional specs, design, coding, testing, and delivery.

Requires 5+ years in real-time systems, strong debugging, and knowledge of RELIANCE SX/SCADA domains. This is an onsite 12-month engagement in NY, involving deployment and integration tasks.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with Linux and Windows OS.
• 5 years experience with C, Java and Oracle SQL, shell scripting; able to read logs and debug; patching OS and 3rd party software such as Oracle, NetApp.
• System configuration and hands-on experience in GitHub and ClearCase.
• 5 years experience on realtime or mission-critical systems; pick up and install fixes on live customer systems; strong problem analysis and debugging; good communication; MS Office competency; Reliance XA21 experience; knowledge of Reliance grid apps domain.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for advanced Power Systems Application software development and delivery to meet commitments.
• Collaborate with Electric Utilities or ISOs and TSOs on software specifications, design, coding, testing, integration, tuning and delivery.
