Job summary

CVS Health in Topeka, KS is seeking a Provider Relations Specialist who will act as the primary resource for assigned providers and groups, building positive relationships and addressing complex policy, contract, and education needs. On-site involvement is expected.

You'll monitor service capabilities, coordinate with internal teams, assist with credentialing, and help ensure contract compliance and provider demographic accuracy to support high-quality care.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience with policy, benefits, plan design and language.
• Working knowledge of codes, products, and terminology.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, problem resolution and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary resource to establish and maintain relationships with providers.
• Monitor service capabilities and resolve escalated issues (claims, contracts, demographics).
• Support operational activities such as database management and contract coordination.
• Perform credentialing support as needed.
• Educate providers to ensure policy and contract compliance.
• Meet with key providers to ensure service levels.
• Develop agendas, prepare materials, and facilitate provider meetings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on contract implementations.
