Senior Provider Network Contractor - 241988

This is a contract role for a seasoned managed care professional with expertise in provider contracting. The position involves managing provider relationships and leading the contracting process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate complex contracts with health systems, hospitals, clinics, and other providers
• Lead initiatives such as template development and contract analytics
• Manage the full contracting lifecycle, including language, rate negotiations, and operational implementation
• Analyze contract proposals and reimbursement trends
• Serve as a subject matter expert on contract templates, billing/coding, and system administration
• Collaborate with legal and operational teams to resolve claims issues
• Lead strategic projects and mentor junior staff

Qualifications:

• 5–8 years of experience negotiating healthcare provider contracts
• Deep understanding of managed care contracting, reimbursement methods, and claims analysis
• Ability to analyze claims history and reimbursement trends
• Experience with strategic planning, network standards, and policy development
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Access

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with FQHCs, PHOs, IPAs
• Knowledge of behavioral and physical health billing/coding
• Experience with contract template management systems
