Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a provider relations, contracting or managed care environment.
• Knowledge of the managed care industry and practices; strong understanding of contracting and financial aspects.
• Must reside in Georgia and drive to the Atlanta office 1x per month.
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract performance and develop value-based contract relationships.
• Recruit providers to meet network expansion and cost targets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on provider compensation, pricing, and reports.
• Identify cost issues and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Represent company with customers and community groups.
• Develop provider network strategic plans to manage medical costs.
• Resolve escalated issues related to claims, contract interpretation, or provider data.
