Job summary

Moog Inc. seeks a Senior Development Engineering Technician in Buffalo, NY to help design, test, and qualify advanced hydraulic and electromechanical products. You will work with engineers to build prototypes, create test setups, and run environmental and functional tests throughout the product development cycle.

Responsibilities include documenting procedures, supporting readiness reviews, and aiding in transfer to production while mentoring junior technicians and ensuring safe lab operations.

Qualifications

7+ years in electrical, mechanical or hydraulic work.
Ability to read engineering drawings and documentation.
Experience with test labs and instrumentation.
Proficient with MS Office and SharePoint.
Ability to lead and work in a team.

Responsibilities

Perform prototype assembly for new, variant, and custom products.
Prepare and fabricate complex electronic, hydraulic and environmental test setups.
Conduct environmental and functional tests for new product development and qualification.
Assist in test procedure preparation and data reporting.
Lead safety-focused testing and support transfer from development to production.
Provide technical guidance to technicians and other departments.
