Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Senior Product Engineering Technician to join the Commercial Aircraft Group. You will plan inspections, diagnose hardware and PCB build issues, and contribute to continuous improvements across assemblies.

The role requires a strong foundation in electronics manufacturing, a minimum 7 years of experience or a technical degree with relevant experience, and the ability to travel 10–15% domestically or internationally.

Formación

• HS Diploma, or GED.
• Vocational/technical education in related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of experience, accredited technical degree with additional relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and perform Engineering inspections/evaluations of hardware.
• Diagnose product and CCA build failures; specify rework and understanding of design principles that govern performance of the product line.
• Data preparation, analysis, and evaluation of trends.
• Production Assembly documentation including worksheets, acceptance test procedures, etc.
• Assist technicians in Assembly methods, use of equipment and instrumentation, and diagnosis and rework of anomalies/failures.
• Monitor Assembly producibility and institute continuous improvements.
• Maintain technical liaison with responsible Project/Product/Process Engineers and support project team meetings.
• Provide support to Assembly operations in coordination with the lead Project/Product/Process Engineer.
• Support development efforts when needed.
