Job summary

American Rheinmetall is seeking a Prototype Center Assembly Technician to join the engineering team and assemble prototype vehicles and systems to meet schedule, budget and quality expectations. You will work with partners to complete heavy assembly of major vehicle systems, following blueprints and written instructions.

The role requires diesel engine/heavy vehicle assembly experience, the ability to use hand tools and torque wrenches, and a proven safety record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Diesel engine / heavy vehicle assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, manuals and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble AR’s combat vehicle prototypes and systems.
• Perform heavy assembly of chassis, turret, armor, drive and power systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Use hand/power tools and torque wrenches.
• Maintain safety and quality standards during assembly.
