Qualifications

• BSEE, BSME or similar technical discipline required.
• 5+ years of product test engineering experience.
• Experience designing or analyzing electromechanical systems.
• Ability to design and assemble full scale test fixtures.
• Data analysis around general statistics (Tukey Range, T-tests, etc.).
• Excellent oral and written communication to create reports and procedures.
• Change agent with energy and enthusiasm to drive change.
• Analytical, problem solving and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and handle competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the consumer by developing protocols/tests that evaluate product requirements against targets set by Product Development.
• Act as the protocol/test/safety/performance standards expert for cross‑functional team questions.
• Identify and work with internal/external SMEs across engineering.
• Present status of activities and special projects to senior management.
• Lead in solving technical issues in product development.
• Mentor junior team members and support the team.
• Collaborate to define user design and functional requirements and validate via testing.
• Own protocol development from conception to verification, moving fast.
• Work with Engineering to create testing rigs for product performance.
• Collaborate with UK, BOS, AL, and China Product Development teams to transition ideas to production.
• Request and analyze market research to understand consumer real world behaviors.
