Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks an experienced Research Technician IV to lead proteomic workflows for clinical precision oncology in a CLIA-CAP setting. The role requires hands-on preparation and analysis of diverse samples, with the ability to drive high-impact translational projects from day one.

Ideal candidates will have proteomics expertise, experience with MS workflows (MRM/PRM), and a strong publication record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field or equivalent
• 8 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of advanced degree and experience
• Proven ability to conduct research independently

Responsibilities

• Process proteomic samples for mass spectrometry analysis.
• Assist in generation and analysis of MS-based proteomic data.
• Follow SOPs in a CLIA/CAP laboratory environment.
• Work with antibodies and immunoaffinity purification techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across medicine, biology, chemistry and statistics.
• Design and present results to colleagues and collaborators.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and records, write progress reports and SOPs.
• Write and co-author scientific manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals.
